Monsoon at C101 — Varachha Road
Why Chapter No. 9 tastes like Surat's monsoon — born at Cafe 9 Story.
2 April 2026
When the first monsoon clouds roll over Mota Varachha, the line at C101 shifts from iced Americanos to something warmer.
Chapter No. 9 — Cafe 9 Story's house signature — was born on a grey afternoon when a guest from the IT park asked for "something that tastes like Surat smells right now." We reached for dark chocolate, cardamom, and our house espresso — the same beans Digital Valley orders for Monday meetings.
It is not a sugary café drink. It is deep, spiced, and meant to be sipped slowly while rain drums on Pragati IT Park's windows.
By the end of monsoon season it had become the cup locals mention when they tell friends: "Go to Cafe 9 Story — opposite Varachha. Ask for Chapter Nine."
